Union Bank of India Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognised/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC.

Duration of Training: Duration of training is one year. The apprentice shall be imparted on-the-job training on different aspects of banking practices, products, and processes.

Union Bank of India Apprentice 2026 – Age Limit:

  • Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on 1 April 2026. However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable..

Age Relaxation – Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment:

Selection Process of Union Bank of India Careers:

Selection of candidates who apply for engagement of apprentices in the Bank after paying the requisite online examination fee shall have to undergo the selection process, which would comprise the following

Online Test (objective type):

  • The online examination will consist of four tests i.e., General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Knowledge

Proficiency Test of Local Language:

  • Candidates must be proficient in the state’s local language. They must provide a 10th/12th mark sheet as proof. If unavailable, they must pass a local language test during Document Verification & Personal Interaction. Non-proficient candidates will be disqualified

Wait List:

  • Wait List of successful candidates will be declared to meet the requirement of the Bank in respect of non-acceptance / nonreporting by the selected candidates from the First Merit List

Medical Examination: 

  • Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to the candidates producing medically fit certificate from a practicing registered general physician who should be minimum a MBBS.

The final Selection will be subject to: 

  • Meeting the Cut off marks in the online examination to be decided by the Bank
  • Satisfactory verification of the documents related to DoB/Category/Educational Qualification satisfying the eligibility criteria for an apprentice compared with the information furnished in the application
  • Submission of Certificate/Passing of test evidencing knowledge of a local language.
  • Submission of a medically fit Certificate from a practising registered General Physician.

Application Fee for Union Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment:

  • General / OBC Candidates – Rs. 800.00 + GST @18% = Rs. 944/-
  • All Females Candidates – Rs. 600.00 + GST @18% = Rs. 708/-
  • SC/ ST/ PWBD/ Transgender Candidates – Rs. 200.00*+ GST @18% = Rs. 236/-
