Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy advises Indian youth to work 70 hours weekly

"My request is that our youngsters must say: 'This is my country. I want to work 70 hours a week," 77-year-old Infosys founder N.R. Narayana Murthy stated in a recent interview with former Infosys CFO T.V. Mohandas Pai.

He believes young Indians are important for the country's development. His recent advice on their work hours has caused discussions worldwide.

He also said it's a good time to speed up India's economic growth as the country is gaining global recognition for its fast-growing economy, aiming to become the world's second-largest by 2075.
