Responsibilities of a Security Officer:

  • Patrol and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized access
  • Apply access control measures (identification verification and visitor)
  • Perform regular inspections of security systems, such as CCTV cameras and fire alarm, to ensure proper operation
  • Report security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards
  • Manage the crowd and order to ensure a smooth flow
  • Queue management at entry, exit, ticket counters, security checkpoints, and other areas
  • Perform security screening of people, luggage, and equipments to conduct with protocols and procedures
  • Operate screening equipment, such as metal detectors and X-ray machines, to detect prohibited items or potential threats
  • Attend the Airport Security & Civil Aviation Security meetings
  • Follow emergency protocols: evacuation, fire safety, first aid
  • Coordinate with emergency services, such as firefighters or paramedics, when required
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences. Prepare incident reports, logbooks, and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor and report any breaches or violations of security policies and procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards within the premises.

Air India Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification:

  • Graduation should be completed.

Experience:

  • Security Officer- Freshers in Aviation Security 
  • Sr. Security Officer- 1 – 3 years of experience in Aviation Security with AVSEC 

Physical standard:

  • Age- 27 or younger (only for freshers)
  • Height-  155 CM or Above for Female  || 170 CM or Above for Male
  • BMI- 26 or Lower

Note: Only Candidates who are eligible as per the above criteria and haven’t appeared for the interview in past 6 months are requested to appear for the interview. Candidates who doesn’t meet the above criteria will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
