Educational Qualifications for CSIR CCMB Job 2026:

Technician:

  • SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science (Min 55% marks) + ITI certificate/ National/State trade certificate
  • OR 2 years apprentice experience 
  • OR 3 years relevant work experience 

Technical Assistant:

  • B.Sc. in relevant subjects (Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biomedical/ Hospitality) with minimum 60% marks + 1 year experience
  • OR Diploma in Electronics/Computer Science (3 years or 2 years lateral) with minimum 60% marks + 2 years experience.

Technical Officer:

  • M.Sc. in relevant fields (Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Hospitality) with minimum 55% marks
  • OR B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering fields with a minimum 55% marks

For Technician/ Gr. II-

Stage-I: Trade Test:
  • Candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee will be called for a Trade Test. This test will be conductin a relevant subject. 
Stage-II: Competitive Written Examination:
  • Mode of Examination- OMR based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination 
  • Duration- 02 Hours 30 Minutes
  • Medium of Question- Both English and Hindi, except for the English Language
