Responsibilities of an AI Engineer:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing AI solutions that align with business objectives

  • Create reliable AI infrastructure and frameworks for performance and scalability.

  • Design and implement AI/ML models, algorithms, and pipelines. 

  • Work with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to provide AI-powered solutions.

  • Continuously monitor and improve AI systems for accuracy and efficiency. 

  • Ensure AI solutions follow ethical standards and regulations (GDPR, fairness, bias mitigation). 

  • Guide team members and share best practices when required

  • Data anonymization, secure model deployment, bias detection

    • Programming Languages for AI system development:
      – Python
      – Java
      – Node.js. 

    • Machine Learning & Deep Learning: model selection, evaluation, and interpretability.
      – TensorFlow
      – PyTorch
      – Hugging Face. 

    • Data Engineering & MLOps:
      – ETL tools (Airflow, dbt)
      – CI/CD for ML (MLflow, DVC)
      – feature stores.

    • Cloud Platforms:
      – AWS
      – Azure
      – GCP for AI deployment and scalability. 

    • System Design & Architecture: Knowledge of microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 

    • Security & Compliance: Data anonymization, secure model deployment, bias detection.
