Rockwell Automation Off Campus 2026:

What a Data Analyst at Rockwell Automation actually does:

• Gather, validate, and analyze business, technology, and data requirements to define project scope and success metrics
• Translate conceptual user requirements into technical requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers / project team
• Coordinate Program Increment planning sessions with business stakeholders to identify short-term priorities aligned with long-term strategic goals
• Ensures that plan aligns with long term strategic goals for business Capability
• Ensure the quality, accuracy and efficiency of data, supporting data governance.
• Manage metadata documentation and approval processes based on business and operational requirements
• Communicate with Project team to guide proposed technical solutions.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and Analytics teams to support implementation activities and resolve production issues
• Analyze, participate, and provide suggestions in any production support issues with Data/Analytics Engineers in problem resolution.
• Partner closely with Enterprise Architect to create data models in-line with organization’s data architecture
• Use tools such as Power BI and analytics modeling platforms to build prototypes and validate business expectations
• Help map out team-to-team dependencies and collaborates with capability teams accordingly.

Rockwell Automation Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems or related field

Preferred skills:

• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience translating business requirements into data models and technical requirements for data analytics, insights, and innovation initiatives
• Innovative thinking and the ability to question advisors across functional areas
• Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines and architecture standards
• Well-versed in Analytics & Insights methodologies and tools – examples:
  – Azure SQL DW
  – AAS
  – Power BI
  – Python
  – Data exploration & mining
  – ADF
  – ADLS G2
• Finance processes is desired:
  – General Ledger
  – Cost Center Accounting
  – Profitability Analysis, etc.
• Understanding of SAP transactional systems, such as ECC, CRM, Hybris is desirable
• Planning applications such as Hyperion, Enterprise Planning Management.
