The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Southern Railway is a vital administrative unit under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Established following a directive in the 2005–2006 Union Railway Budget, RRC Southern Railway was created to streamline and manage the recruitment processes for erstwhile Group ‘D’ (Level 1) staff and other specialized quotas within the Southern Railway zone and the Integral Coach Factory (ICF).
