DRDO RAC Recruitment 2025:

Job Description:

RAC recruitment to the posts of Scientist `B’ in Defence Research & Development Organization(DRDO) in Level‐10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100/‐) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1,00,000/‐ p.m. at the present metro city rate.

DRDO Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

For Engineering Graduates:

• At least a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Electrical/ Material/ Material Science/ Metallurgical/ Chemical/ Civil/ Aeronautical/Aerospace, or Bio-Medical Engineering.
• Valid GATE score against the respective Paper Code

For Science Graduates:

• At least First Class Master’s Degree in Science in Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Entomology/ Bio Statistics/ Clinical Psychology or Psychology.
• Valid GATE score against respective Paper Code

Total Vacancies

Age Limit:

• Unreserved (UR) /EWS  – 35 years
• OBC (Non-creamy layer) –  38 years
• SC/ST  – 40 years

Relaxation:

• Upto 10 years for PwD category candidates.
• The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for serving Central Civilian Govt.
• The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex‐servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per rules in vogue.

DRDO Recruitment Selection Process:

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score in the ratio of 1:10 subject to their availability in order of discipline-wise category-wise merit list.
• The shortlisted candidates will be asked to confirm their willingness to appear for Personal Interview by a given deadline and subsequently select their choice of tentative interview date from the pre-defined calendar dates made available on the RAC website.
• The exact dates of interview will be finalized later by RAC and communicated to candidates..

• For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female candidates- No Fee
