Detailed Eligibility for IISER Mohali Careers:

Educational Qualification:

Apprentice:

Library Science:

• Bachelor’s in Library Science

Accounts and Audit:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce

Administrative Services:

• Any Bachelor’s degree OR
• Any Bachelor’s degree and desirable is a diploma/certificate in stenography.

Computer Networking:

• Bachelor’s degree (BCA / BScCS/IT)

Civil Engineering:

• B.E./B.Tech in (Civil)

Electrical Engineering:

• B.E./B.Tech in (Electrical)

Animal Science:

• B.Sc (Animal Science / Zoology)

Web Designing:

• 10+2 and Diploma in web designing

Architecture: 

• Bachelor’s in Architecture

Note:

• Only candidates who have completed their graduation/diploma in the year 2021, 2022 or 2023 are eligible to apply for the apprenticeship

Duration: The tenure of apprenticeship for the above trades would be 12 months, commencing from execution of the contract of apprenticeship as per The Apprentices Act, 1961 amended from time to time.

Age Limit (16 September 2024): 18 – 25 years

Age Relaxation: A relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per the Govt. of India guidelines for candidates from SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PwBD categories.

Selection Process for IISER Mohali Careers:

• Shortlisting of suitable candidates by the Committee and a merit list will be prepared based on the percentage in the qualifying degree/diploma.
• In case of candidates securing equal marks/percentage in their qualifying examination, the candidate securing more percentage in the preceding educational qualification will be placed at the higher position in the merit list
• The eligible shortlisted candidates (based on merit) will be asked to report for Document Verification on the date, time and venue to be published later
