Responsibilities of an Educational Developer:

  • Translate e-learning content including scripts, subtitles, assessments, and on-screen text into target languages using Articulate Storyline

  • Co-ordinates with stakeholders/proofreaders for quality checks for translated e‑modules

  • Ensure translations align with learning context, tone, and terminology standards

  • Support glossary management, translation memories, and style guide maintenance

  • Collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, and reviewers for content clarification and updates

  • Perform basic formatting and text updates in e-learning tools or documents (Word, PPT, Excel, LMS exports)

  • Track feedback, revisions, and version control during translation workflows

  • Adhere to timelines and quality guidelines defined by the team.

  • Graduate student or recent graduate in:
    – Languages
    – Translation
    – Linguistics
    – English
    – Communications
    – Related fields

Required skills:

 

  • Articulate Storyline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (reading & writing)
  • Understanding of grammar, sentence structure, and tone
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
