What an Operations Engineer at PTC actually does:

  • Assisting with the deployment of Windchill applications, build packages, CCDs, CPS, Maintenance Releases, and temporary patches.
  • Supporting rehosting activities and validating application deployments.

PTC Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in
    – Computer Science
    – Information Technology
    – Engineering
    – Related discipline.

Required skills:

  • Basic knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM and cloud concepts.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows Server, Apache, Tomcat, Oracle Database, and SQL.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/PowerShell).
  • Understanding of deployment, troubleshooting, and system administration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Windchill administration is an added advantage
