What QA Automation Engineer at Quest Global actually does:

  • Participate in cross functional Scrum team that develops and maintain the product.
  • Work with the other R&D functions.
  • Create automated test suites for regression and new features and run manual tests. Testing user interface elements, verifying database data, and automating deployment and data creation.
  • Participate in the creation of new features and advise developers and POs on how the system should operate.
  • Install and Configure testing systems with latest deliveries for testing.
  • Supporting customers and the support groups by analysing and solving product issues
  • Interface with various R&D groups, as well as support and services groups.

Quest Global Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Required skills:

  • Design and develop the test automation framework, harnesses and code libraries to enable the team to use as well as enhance them across successive projects.
  • Capable to design and develop automation Solutions and utilities in context of the project.
  • Good knowledge of API automation using  RestAssured / JMeter
  • Should have understanding of setting up Test Infrastructure
  • Should have exposure to use AI tools for testing and automation
  • Have the ability to monitor the effectiveness of the QA function and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the SDLC/STLC.
  • An expert in Selenium Web Driver suite of tools
  • Good knowledge of API automation using Karate/Jmeter
  • Experience in scripting and programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, Shell Script).
  • Hands on experience in version management tools such as GIT.
  • Understanding of SQL and able to write complex database queries.
  • Understanding of database technologies, management systems, and cloud-based systems/services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management.
  • Good consulting, communication, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation Skills.
