Responsibilities of a Software Engineer:

  • Design and develop applications using Core Java and Java Swing for medical-device applications.

  • Design and develop SPA applications using Angular and React.

  • Understand and work with existing enterprise applications built primarily with Core Java and Java Swing, along with components using technologies such as C++, Perl, and Python.

  • Take ownership of assigned jobs that are part of new feature implementations, bug fixes, and enhancement activities.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on technical discussions and requirements.

Quest Global Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • 1-3 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks.

Required skills:

  • Strong experience in developing Linux/Unix based desktop applications using Core Java.
  • Strong experience in UI development using Java Swing.
  • Experience in Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience in Angular.
  • Hands-on experience in using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Medical Device development experience.
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented concepts and experience in implementing them using Java.
  • Unit testing experience using JUnit or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Good knowledge of software design patterns and UML.
  • Experience in developing software applications for the medical devices domain: CT, XR, MR, Common Platform, DICOM standard.
  • Hands-on experience in RDBMS and SQL.
  • Communication skills.
