Preliminary Exam
The Preliminary exam is the first stage of the selection process. It consists of 100 questions, divided into three sections:
- English Language – 30 Questions
- Numerical Ability – 35 Questions
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions
- An online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam.
- This test would be of a 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows.

Main Exam
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary exam will be eligible to take the Main exam. The Main exam consists of 190 questions, divided into four sections:
- General/Financial Awareness – 50 Questions
- General English – 40 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude – 50 Questions
- Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude – 50 Questions
- The Mains Exam will be conducted for 190 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam.
- This test would be of a 2-hour 40-minute duration consisting of 4 Sections as follows.
