What does Engineer Verification at Infineon actually do?

  • Interface with silicon validation and characterization teams to understand test requirements.
  • Develop and build test list, automation suite including software and firmware for the silicon.
  • Perform validation on FPGA (pre-silicon) and actual silicon.
  • Automate bench test equipment using Python or LabVIEW.
  • Manage schedules and liaison with cross functional teams, when associated as a program manager.

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:
    – Electronics
    – Computer Science

  • 0 – 1 year of experience 
  • Understanding of microcontroller andSoC products

Required skills:

  • Bench Characterization with Analog, Digital, and Mixed-signal IPs experience.
  • Experience in using lab equipment such as SMUs, DMMoscilloscopes and signal generators.
  • C, Python, Land abVIEW language. LabVIEW understanding (plus).
  • Regulators and reference measurements knowledge.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
