What a Data Specialist at Tekion actually does:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of assigned lender and OEM data structures and the relationships between key data points
  • Utilize data feeds, websites, documents or similar to obtain and process new data updates.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of all required data into internal systems
  • Review and audit data entries for personal work as well as team submissions to maintain data accuracy
  • Individual will proactively source and obtain new or missing lender & OEM data as needed to ensure all data is available and accurate within products.
  • Assist department with automating data entry wherever possible.
  • Deliver assigned tasks and projects within defined SLA timelines
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to enhance products and resolve discrepancies
  • Fix identified data errors and address queries from customer support teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders

Tekion Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree
    OR
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field

Required skills:

  • Proficiency with MS Office 
  • MS Excel (preferred)
  • Ability to make, understand and analyze API calls/responses (Postman).
  • Verbal and written communication skills
