What a Business Analyst at PayU actually does:

  • Develop and maintain credit policies for digital lending products.
  • Analyze data (e.g. traditional and alternative bureau, behavioral & macroeconomic data) using statistical tools and analytical techniques to generate insights and optimize credit decisions (accept/ decline, pricing and credit line)
  • Build and improve customer management strategies to increase profitability.
  • Monitor portfolio and vintage delinquencies to ensure risk is within bounds; take corrective action as required
  • Evaluate vendors and data providers to improve credit strategies.
  • Partner with marketing, data science and product teams to ensure appropriate execution of policy requirements
  • Stay updated with regulations and compliance requirements.

Bank Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in
    – Mathematics
    – Statistics
    – Economics
    – Engineering
    – Related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in risk policy/risk management/analytics would be preferred

Required skills:

  • Knowledge of credit bureau data, risk scorecards and ability to pay quantification
  • Expertise in Excel; data manipulation using SQL/R/Python an added plus
  • Complex data analyses and communicating to a wide variety of audiences, including senior leadership
  • Managing several projects simultaneously and driving end-to-end project delivery
  • Developing policy and procedures documentation for credit risk strategy execution
  • Developing and automating quality control process to ensure intended execution of credit strategies.
