Responsibilities of a Technical Project Analyst:

  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to drive effective Quarterly Execution Planning (QEP) using Jira Align as the single source of truth.
  • Help and facilitate prioritization of Epics and features that align to the program Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and available workforce capacity.
  • Ensure proper preparation and participation of Team of Teams (TofT) in QEP activities by collaborating with Operations, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other teams.
  • Ensure that the program and projects follow Visa’s Agile Management Methodology (AM2)
  • Adopt and follow Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), release management, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes.
  • Provide quality, flow, developer productivity, persistency, category of spend, and value metrics-based reporting to all stakeholders, hold regular program-level ceremonies (Scrum of Scrums, Agile Release Train Sync, System Demos).
  • Cultivate a mindset of rigorous planning & prioritizing while proactively identifying risks and dependencies to accelerate value realization.
  • Manage cross-functional communication to improve clarity, coordination, and adoption of changes.
  • Ensure risks and dependencies that arise during quarterly execution are identified, communicated, negotiated and resolved with the dependent teams in a timely manner.
  • Analyze Agile performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that identified security vulnerabilities are addressed and remediated in a timely manner to prevent non-compliance.
  • Ensure that exceptions are obtained in a timely manner and kept to a minimum.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience
    OR
    5+ years of relevant work experience

Required skills:

  • Knowledge of English
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in at least one agile project management tool: Rally, Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, ServiceNow, Version One, etc.
  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills with ability to negotiate and influence change.
