SBI Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification- Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.
  • Duration of Training- 1 Year

SBI Apprentices Recruitment 2026- Age Limit

  • Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2026 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2006 and not earlier than 02.04.1998 (both days inclusive)

Age Relaxation – SBI Apprentices Recruitment 2026:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
  • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process of SBI Apprentices Recruitment:

Selection for apprentice engagement would be based on:
i) Online Written Examination
ii) Local Language Proficiency Test
iii) Medical Examination
iv) Document Verification

Online Written Test:

There will be 1/4 negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.

Test of Local Language:

  • Tests candidates on their fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the applied state/UT.
  • Candidates who can present 10th or 12th mark sheets showing they studied the local language are exempt from this test.

Medical Examination:

  • Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirements of the Bank.

Document Verification:

  • Candidates are admitted to the written test based on their online application.
  • Eligibility (age, qualification, category) will be verified during document verification.
  • Document verification will take place at a designated centre, at the candidate’s own expense.
  • Candidates must attend document verification at their own cost, with no travel reimbursement from the bank
  • A list of required documents will be provided at the time of verification

    Final Selection:

    The Final Selection will be subject to the following:

    • Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
    • Qualifying in test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
    • Qualification in the Medical examination.

      SBI Opening 2026 – Application Fee

        • For General/ OBC/ EWS Candidates: Rs. 300
        • For SC/ ST/ PWBD Candidates: No Fee
