SSC Job Openings 2026 – Educational Qualifications

  • He must have passed the 12th standard examination from a recognized Board or equivalent
  • Any permanent or regularly appointed temporary Group ‘C’ employee having Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 who satisfies the following conditions shall be eligible to appear at the examination.
  • He should have rendered not less than three years’ regular service as a Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800

The SSC JSA LDC LDCE 2025 selection process consists of a single-stage Computer-Based Examination (CBE)-

      Hard Copy Documents (To be sent through the proper channel

      • Service Book First Page (Certified true copy, duly attested by your Head of Department or Head of Office, clearly showing your full name, date of birth, and SC/ST status if applicable)

      • Service Particulars Statement (Certified statement attested by your HoD or Head of Office showing all posts held, your pay scale, and your official employment status)

      • Educational Certificate (Copy of your certificate proving you have passed the 12th standard examination or equivalent)

      • Disability Certificate (Valid PwBD certificate, required only if you are applying under the disability category)

      All physical documents attached to your printed application form must be self-attested photocopies (no originals).

        How to Apply for SSC Recruitment 2026?

        To apply for this Off Campus Drive, interested candidates must follow the procedure outlined below:

        Step 1: Online Registration and Application

        1. One-Time Registration (OTR): Go to the new SSC website at ssc.gov.in. If you haven’t generated an OTR on this new portal yet, you must do so (older OTRs from ssc.nic.in will not work). It is advised to opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication during this process.

        2. Fill out the Application: Log in with your OTR credentials and complete the online application form for the examination.

        3. Capture Live Photograph: The system will capture a live photograph using your webcam or phone camera. Ensure you are in a well-lit area with a plain background, looking straight ahead, and not wearing a cap, mask, or spectacles.

        4. Upload Signature: Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).

        5. Submit Online: Review your application details using the “Preview” option and submit online before the deadline of 16.07.2026 (2300 hours). Print a copy of the completed form.

        Step 2: Forwarding the Hard Copy (Through Proper Channel)

        1. Because this is a departmental examination, your printed application must be verified and forwarded by your employer.

        2. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of the following required documents to your printed application form:

        4. Certified particulars of your service showing posts held, scale of pay, and employment status (substantive, permanent, temporary, etc.) attested by your HoD/Head of Office.

        6. Disability certificate (if applicable for PwBD candidates).

        Departmental Endorsement:

        1. Submit this packet to your respective Service/Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) or Head of Department so they can verify, endorse, and officially forward it.
