Responsibilities of an AI/ML Engineer:

• Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning (ML) models and AI solutions for production environments.
• Work with large datasets involving data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Build and implement machine learning solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into applications.
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Develop AI solutions using technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Deep Learning, depending on business requirements.
• Maintain documentation for experiments, model configurations, deployment workflows, and technical processes.
• Present technical findings and project updates to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI frameworks.
• Follow company policies, work assignments, and operational guidelines while adapting to changing business requirements.

Optum Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience

Required skills:

• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines (data → model → deployment)
• Experience in domain-specific applications such as healthcare, customer service, or automation
• Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, including fairness, bias mitigation, and model explainability
• Proven exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, or deep learning techniques.
