Responsibilities of an Application Support:

  • Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace dashboards.
  • Manage the complete incident lifecycle through ServiceNow, including logging, tracking, and resolution.
  • Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Handle P1 and P2 incidents, including coordinating bridge calls during critical production issues.
  • Conduct post-deployment validation and application health checks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely issue resolution.
  • Act as an L1/L2 support engineer for high-severity incidents.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize recurring production issues.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for production support processes.
