Responsibilities of Test Engineer:

  • Develop and implement test plans and strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Create and execute automated test scripts, testing frameworks, and tools to detect quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements
  • Work closely with developers to provide detailed information and provide resolution.
  • Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promoting a culture of code quality.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation adoption

Barclays Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Required skills:

  • Experience with SDLC, STLC, and functional testing
  • Experience in Test Strategy/Planning , formulating test approach, ST, SIT, Requirement Analysis, Defect Management , Traceability , TCM etc.
  • End-to-End functional testing
  • Experience in Payments Domain
  • Exposure to SWIFT, ISO 20022, MT messages, scheme processing
  • Hands-on experience in writing test scenarios, test scripting
  • Experience in Jira process
  • Strong communication and documentation skill
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Agile & Waterfall methodology
  • Supporting automation and the ability to execute if required
