- Candidates must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized Board.

- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 23 years.
Age Relaxation – BSF Recruitment 2026:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years

Selection Process of BSF Constable Careers:
Scrutiny of Applications:
- Online application forms and copy of certificate uploaded by the candidates will be scrutinized and if found in order the candidates securing minimum qualifying 12 marks
Documentation:
- Before the start of documentation, all candidates will undergo verification of identity, including Biometric capture. Biometric identification of a candidate can also be taken at any stage of recruitment
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Measurement of Height, weight, and chest.
