Responsibilities of an Intern:

  • Develop and integrate automation tools to improve engineering efficiency.

  • Build, maintain, and enhance game call simulation tools using C++, Scala, or similar technologies.

  • Design and execute stress testing and load testing scenarios for gaming applications.

  • Analyze gameplay logs to simulate realistic production workloads.

  • Configure and manage distributed testing environments.

  • Execute performance tests and prepare detailed reports on test outcomes.

  • Investigate system, application, and network performance issues.

  • Identify root causes of test failures and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve them.

  • Communicate testing progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Follow EA’s security policies, confidentiality guidelines, and engineering standards.

Eligibility Criteria of Electronic Arts:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in
    – Computer Science
    – Software Engineering
    – Related field

Required skills:

  • Programming languages like C++/Scala/Python. 
  • Cloud systems like AWS (preferred) / GCP/Azure
  • Knowledgeable in the area of scalable platform architecture, end-to-end systems design, and architecture
  • Passion and creativity for problem-solving 
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (like Grafana etc.,)  and database technologies (MySQL, Redis, etc..) 
  • Able to work and problem solve independently, to organize workload and priorities, high-quality execution, technical innovation/adaptation, and to take initiative.
