ITBP Jobs – Eligibility:

Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; OR
    • BCA; OR
    • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or IT.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Proficiency in telecommunication systems and electronics.

Head Constable (Telecommunication)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • 10+2 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; OR
    • 10th with ITI certification in Electronics/Electrical/Computer; OR
    • Diploma in relevant fields.

Constable (Telecommunication)

  • Educational Qualification:
    • Matriculation or equivalent.
  • Desirable:
    • Diploma or certificate in IT-related fields.

 ITBP recruitment Age Limit and Relaxations

  • Sub-Inspector: 20 to 25 years
  • Head Constable: 18 to 25 years
  • Constable: 18 to 23 years

Relaxations

  • ST: +5 years
  • OBC: +3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen and riot victims: Special relaxations as per guidelines.

Salary Structure

  • Sub-Inspector: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level-06)
  • Head Constable: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-04)
  • Constable: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 (Level-03)

 ITBP recruitment Selection Process

The ITBP recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
    Clear these physical fitness evaluations based on ITBP standards.
  2. Written Examination
    Prepare for the written test with focus areas based on the role.
  3. Document Verification
    Ensure all original documents are ready for verification.
  4. Medical Examination
    Undergo a detailed or review medical examination.

  • For Head Constable and Constable: ₹100/-
