Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board
• Atleast 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII)

Additional Criteria

• Candidates who have appeared for the JEE (Main) – 2026 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech).
• Call-up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2026 published by NTA.

Training Details

Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four years B. Tech Course (only for the selected 07 candidates from Mechanical Engineering) as per Naval requirements in

• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding

On completion of the course, B. Tech Degree will be awarded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Selection Process

The Indian Navy has a structured selection process:

1. Shortlisting of Applications
   • Based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) for 2026.
   • Candidates must enter their JEE (Main) rank accurately in the application form.
2. SSB Interview
   • Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and SMS for the SSB interview.
