Responsibilities of an Analyst:

  • Perform financial reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and records

  • Deliver high standards of quality

  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions, including bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.

  • Investigate discrepancies and variances, ensuring timely resolution and accurate financial reporting

  • Maintain reconciliation reports and supporting documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve outstanding reconciliation issues.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and suggest automation solutions to enhance efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.

  • Understand client policy and procedures and its application on engagement delivery.

  • Monitor operational performance against defined plans and objectives.

  • Report issues of concern and risk to KGS Leadership, and where appropriate, to the client on a timely basis, proactively ensuring problems/issues are identified and solved.

KPMG Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in
    – financial reconciliation
    – accounting
    – related roles

Required skills:

  • Knowledge of reconciliation tools, accounting principles, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables etc)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
  • Strong command and ease of business English (spoken and written), native preferred 
  • Experience in shared services or outsourcing environments, especially in the Insurance, Banking and Asset Management industry is preferred
  • Audit experience a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx  or RPA solutions would be great to have
  • Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other accounting standards will be an added advantage
  • Awareness of the Regulatory & Compliance guidelines and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes
  • Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to Banking Operations and Risk Management, under the ambit of  global service delivery set-up.
