Responsibilities of a Support Engineer:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling technical queries through phone, email, and support portals while ensuring a positive customer experience.

  • Provide technical assistance by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving product-related issues within the assigned Oracle technology stack.

  • Investigate customer-reported problems by reproducing issues, performing root cause analysis, and validating potential solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Follow up on service requests to communicate progress, deliver resolutions, and escalate complex technical issues to specialized engineering teams when required.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to identify software defects, reliability concerns, and maintenance issues while supporting timely issue resolution.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of support cases, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions within internal support systems.

  • Develop and update troubleshooting guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles to improve future issue resolution.

  • Build a strong understanding of Oracle products, customer environments, and enterprise support processes.

  • Assist internal teams by sharing technical insights and supporting the resolution of customer-facing issues across multiple functions.

  • Utilize automation tools and AI-assisted technologies to streamline troubleshooting, identify recurring issues, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Recommend improvements to support workflows, documentation, and service processes based on customer feedback and operational observations.

  • Monitor individual performance metrics and continuously enhance technical expertise through ongoing learning and professional development
