PNB Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline from any Institute/ College/ University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ AICTE/ UGC. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 31.12.2025 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ College/ Institute as and when required by the Bank.
  • For the candidates registered under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), the date of passing their Graduation should not be more than 4 years preceding to the cut-off date i.e. 01.01.2026.
  • The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in local language of that State/UT

Duration of Training: Total Duration of training will be of one year (i.e. 12 months) from the date of contract. The one-year training will include 2 weeks’ Basic Training and 50 weeks’ On-the-Job Training.

PNB Jobs 2026 – Age Limit: 

  • Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 28 years
  • Age relaxation for the upper age limit is as per the government rules.

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC Candidates: 3 years.
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years.
  • PWD Candidates: 10 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years.
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years.

PNB Recruitment 2026 Selection Process:

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the following:

Online written test:

  • Duration: 60 Minutes
  • Medium of Test: English / Hindi
  • All applicants who have paid the examination fee will receive an intimation from BFSI SSC with the date and time of the examination.

Document Verification:

  • Candidates will have to appear for the Document Verification at a centre (to be decided by the Bank) of the State/UT applied for, at his/her own expenses

Test of Local Language:

  • The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State

Medical Examination:

  • The engagement of selected apprentices is subject to their being declared medically fit per the bank’s requirement.

The final Selection will be subject to:

    • Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
    • Qualifying in written test and test of local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
    • Qualification in the Medical examination.
