Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable client & server-side components
• Investigate, troubleshoot and solve customer issues with Tableau products.
• Fix and resolve basic, well-defined, work items and customer problems with guidance.
• Leverage AI tools across the lifecycle of work items
• Analyze product log files, crash dumps, network traces, etc.
• Create code and automated tests, also ensure adherence to coding standards, quality standards and best guidelines.
• Develop understanding of how the fixed module integrates with the broader product.
• Learn technologies, design patterns, and Engineering Best Practices.
• Work in a Hybrid Engineering model, collaborating with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and specifications.
• Strive to improve your work every sprint by making small changes to your approach.
• Document RCA, fixes, and reproducible steps clearly
• Log and provide timely status updates on assigned work items.
• Transparently share progress and roadblocks with their mentor and senior engineers

Eligibility Criteria:

• B.S/M.S. in Computer Sciences or equivalent field.

• 0-2 years of relevant software development experience

Preferred skill:

• Deep working expertise primarily in C++ 17 or Java 17 and later
• Experience in other languages like, Javascript, Typescript, C# will be good to have
• Experience in software engineering development paradigms and best practices, with high focus on reliability and quality.
• Understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, workload distribution, along with a deep understanding of relational databases and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of debugging and performance optimization techniques
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software engineering best practices including coding standards, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
