SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024:

  • One of India’s largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical – Integrated Learning Mission (ILM).
  • This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education.
  • This scholarship is open to students from Class 6 to 12 and for those who are pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the top 100 NIRF universities/colleges and IITs or MBA/PGDM courses from IIMs.
  • Selected students can receive a scholarship of up to INR 7.5 lakh to support their educational endeavors.

SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024
Eligibility Criteria:

  • It is open for Indian nationals only
  • Applicant must be studying in class 6 to 12 or an undergraduate or postgraduate
  • Students must have secured minimum 75% marks or above in their previous academic year
  • For school students, the gross annual family income of the applicants must be upto 3 lakh and for undergraduate or postgraduate students, the gross annual family income of the applicants must be upto 6 lakh.

Scholarship Cash Awards:
The SBIF Asha Scholarship cash awards are mentioned below.

1. For School Students – Rs 15,000

2. Undergraduate Students – Rs 50,000
3. Postgraduate Students – Rs 70,000
4. Undergraduate Students from IIT’s – 2,00,000
5. MBA Students from IIM’s – 7,50,000.

Documents Required:

  • Mark sheet from the previous academic year (Class 6-12/ Graduation/ Post-graduation as applicable)
  • Adhaar card
  • Current year fee receipt
  • Proof of current year admission
  • Bank account details of the applicant or parent
  • Proof of Income (Form 16A/ income certificate/ salary slips etc.) 
  • Photograph of the applicant
  • Caste Certificate (wherever applicable).
