Educational Qualification
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Culture and Staff Selection Commission: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University
Age Limit
Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply. However, age relaxation is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government norms.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates – 5 years
- OBC candidates – 3 years
- PWD candidates (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST) – 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 03 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Defence Personnel disabled: 03 – 08 years.
- Central Government Civilian Employees: Up to 40 – 45 years of age.
- Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried: Up to 35 – 40 years of age.
Salary Details:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Rs 19,900 – 63,200/-
- Data Entry Operator (DEO): Rs 25,500 – 81,100/- and Rs 29,200 – 92,300/-
- Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Rs 25,500 – 81,100/-.
SSC CHSL Exam 2025 Selection Process
The SSC CHSL Exam 2025 selection process consists of three stages:
Stage 1: Objective Type (Tier-I)
The Tier-I exam is a computer-based examination consisting of objective-type questions.

Stage 3: Skill Test/Typing Test
The final stage of the SSC CHSL Exam 2025 is the skill test/typing test. Candidates who have qualified for the Tier-I and Tier-II exams are eligible for the skill test/typing test.
SSC CHSL Exam 2025 Admit Card
The SSC CHSL Exam 2024 Admit Card will be available on the official website of SSC. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and password.
SSC CHSL Application fee:
- Rs.100/-
- No fee for Women/ SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates.
- Payment Mode: Online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
