Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualifications

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The result should be declared on or before 31.07.2026.

Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit

  • Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on the cut-off date, viz.
    01.07.2026 for General Category and EWS Candidates, the Date of Birth should fall between 01.07.1998 and 01.07.2006, inclusive of both dates

Selection Process of Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment:

Selection will be based on an Online Examination & test of the local language, wherever applicable, and personal interaction, if any, as the Bank decides. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for the online examination and personal interaction.

Online Test (objective type):

  • The online examination will consist of four tests: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
  • The total duration of the examination would be 60 minutes.

Test of Local Language:

  • Candidates applying for training seats in a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the local languages of the state (to be specified when calling for applications).
  • The local language test will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination.
  • The test for knowledge of the specified local language will be conducted as part of the selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged in an apprenticeship.
  • Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test
