What a Manual Engineer at Harmonic actually does:

  • Test multidisciplinary embedded systems (software and hardware).

  • Responsibility for features’ testing, starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing.

  • Execute manual testing to ensure product functionality and quality.

Harmonic Qualification needed:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW)

Required skills:

  • Experience in QA methodologies

  • Linux knowledge

  • Networking knowledge (Layer 3) – advantage

  • Knowledge of RF testing equipment, traffic generators, network sniffer – advantage

  • Python or other scripting knowledge, experience in test scripts execution – advantage

  • DOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge – advantage

  • Agile working methods – advantage.
