  • A candidate’s minimum age should not be below 18 years and maximum not over 32 years (born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2008).
  • Date of birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate alone will be accepted; no subsequent request for change will be entertained.

Selection Process of High Court of Delhi:

The selection process for Delhi High Court Recruitment consists of four stages i.e. English Typing Test, English Shorthand Test, Main (Descriptive) Examination, and Interview

1) Senior Personal Assistant:

Stage – 1: English Typing Test

  1. 10-minute computer typing test.
  2. Minimum speed: 40 WPM.
  3. Maximum mistakes: 3%.
  4. Qualifying only

Stage – II: English Shorthand Tests

  1. Speed: 110 WPM.
  2. 550-word passage in 5 minutes.
  3. Transcription time: 45 minutes.
  4. 120 marks.

Stage – III: Main (Descriptive) Examination

  1. Duration: 120 minutes.
  2. Total: 100 marks.
  3. Essay, Letter Writing, Grammar & Comprehension, and Translation

Stage – IV: Interview

  1. Candidates qualifying the Main Exam are called for an interview.
  2. 15 marks

        • EWS Specifics: Candidates must possess the prescribed Income and Asset Certificate on the last date of application submission.

        • PwBD Specifics: Candidates must have 40% or more of the relevant benchmark disability (e.g., One Leg, Both Legs, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victim, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness) to be eligible for reservation, age relaxation, and mark relaxation.

        • Merit-Based Selection: Reserved category candidates selected on the same standard as General category candidates will be treated as General candidates. If selected using a relaxed standard (e.g., age limit or marks), they will be counted against reserved vacancies only.
