    DRDO GTRE Recruitment – Qualification:

    • Graduate Engineering Apprentice: BE/ BTech granted by a statutory university or by an institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament
    • Diploma (Engineering) Apprentice: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology or equivalent qualification granted by a State Board of Technical Education or
      recognized by the State Government concerned or the Central Government
    • ITI Trades Apprentice: Candidates who have passed out of ITI with valid certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) in the respective trade
    • Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice: A Degree granted by a statutory university or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament

    DRDO GTRE Jobs 2026 – Age Limit

    • The candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum as per the provisions of Govt. of India (As on 06/06/2026).

    Age Relaxation – DRDO GTRE Walk-In Recruitment 2026:

    • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
    • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
    • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
    • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
    • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

    2. Graduate Apprentice – Non-Engineering: Rs. 9000/month
    3. Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 8000/month
