Harman Internship Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global finance teams across multiple business units and geographical locations.

• Perform assigned accounting tasks by following established procedures and guidance from senior team members.

• Support the General Ledger (GL) accounting team in daily financial operations and reporting activities.

• Provide backup support for designated team members whenever required.

• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, provisions, reserves, reclassifications, recharges, and other accounting transactions.

• Reconcile General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and identify outstanding items.

• Maintain master data such as GL accounts, cost centers, and WBS elements in SAP, where applicable.

• Assist in financial reporting through Harman’s consolidation and reporting systems.

• Prepare aging analysis, monitor open balance sheet items, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

• Review and update internal control documents while ensuring compliance with organizational accounting policies and standards.

• Ensure all assigned activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of accuracy

Preferred skill:
