OCL Career Eligibility Criteria:

Category – I Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:

  • A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
  • A Diploma in Engineering or Technology(Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline
  • A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Category – II Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:

  • A Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Humanities such as BA/B.Sc., / B.Com/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA etc., (Regular — Full time) granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved

Batch: Passed during 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024

Stipend Details: 

  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 10500/-
  • Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 11500/

IOCL Job Openings 2024 – Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years

Age Relaxation: 

  • Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST i.e. up to a max of 29 yrs
  • 3 years for OBC-NCL i.e.up to a max of 27 yrs., for the posts reserved for them
  • Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST) and
  • Up to 13 years for OBC-NCL candidates.

Selection Process of IOCL Apprentice 2024:

  • The board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparing of shortlist from the online application data.
  • Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
  • Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered email ID.
  • Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Chennai
