  • The Minimum age to apply is 15 Years & the maximum age is 25 years.

Age Relaxation – IRCTC Recruitment 2025:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
  • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection Process of IRCTC Careers:

Selection will be based on merit list followed by Document Verification.

    IRCTC Stipend Details-

    • School pass-outs (class 5th – class 9th): Rs. 5,000/- per month
    • School pass-outs (class 10th): Rs. 6,000/-
    • School pass-outs (class 12th): Rs. 7,000/-
    • National or State Certificate holder: Rs. 7,700/-
    • Technician (vocational) apprentice or Vocational Certificate holder or Sandwich Course (Students from Diploma Institutions): Rs. 7,000/-
    • Technician apprentice or diploma holder in any stream or Sandwich Course (Students from Degree Institutions): Rs. 8,000/-
    • Graduates apprentices or degree apprentices or degree in any stream: Rs. 9,000/-
