Selection Process of ISRO SAC Careers:

1) The Selection process for Technician ‘B’ consists of (1) Written test and (2) Skill test.

Written test:

  • Duration- 90 minutes
  • No. of Questions- 80 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Marking Scheme- +1 for each correct answer and -0.33 for each wrong answer

Skill test:

  • 1:5 ratio (minimum 10 candidates shortlisted per vacancy)
  • Test Evaluation- Only qualifying nature — marks not added to final result

  • Final Selection- Based on written test marks only (after qualifying skill test)

2) The Selection process for Pharmacist A consists of (1) Written test and (2) Skill test.

  • Marks not specified, but test checks both theoretical & practical knowledge
  • Based on written test merit — shortlisted for skill test as required
  • Evaluated on 100 marks scale; need minimum 60% to qualify
  • Based on written test marks (only those who qualify skill test with ≥60%)
