NPCIL Job Openings 2025 – Educational Qualifications

Trade Apprentice:

  • ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade.

Diploma Apprentice:

  • Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational established by a State Government/ by a University/ by an Institute recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma in respective Discipline

Graduate Apprentice:

  • Graduate Degree in non-engineering streams or general streams such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc. including sandwich courses granted by a College / University Recognized by AICTE/ UGC/State Government/ Central Government.

NPCIL Jobs 2025 – Age Limit

  • Trade Apprentice: Minimum age 14 years and maximum 24 years
  • Diploma Apprentice: Minimum age 18 years and maximum 25 years
  • Graduate Apprentice: Minimum age 20 years and maximum 28 years

Age Relaxation – NPCIL Recruitment 2025:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
  • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

    • Rs. 7,700/-  (for those who have been engaged after one year of ITI course)
    • Rs 8,050/-  (for those who have been engaged after two years of ITI course)
  • Diploma Apprentice: Rs 8,000/-
  • Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 9,000/-

Selection Process for NPCIL Recruitment 2025:

  • Merit-Based Shortlisting: The candidates will be selected for training on the basis of marks obtained in their ITI/Diploma/Graduation course.
  • Priority Criteria: The following priority will be adopted for selection of Apprentices:
    1. Land Losers
    2. Local i.e from Radhapuram Taluk.
    3. Tirunelveli District
    4. Tamilnadu
    5. Others
  • Tie-Breaker: In case of tie in the percentage of marks, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.
