Reserve Bank of India Job – Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and knowledge of word processing on a PC.
  • A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognised University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
  • Candidates applying for a post in a particular Recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak) of the state.

RBI Assistant Jobs 2026 – Age Limit

  • Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years i.e. Candidates born not earlier than 02/02/1998 and not later than 01/02/2006 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation – Reserve Bank of India Assistant:

  • Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) – 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) – 10 Years
  • Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years
  • Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Upto 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates

Selection will be based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Language Proficiency Test (LPT)-
