Job Description:

TCS Ignite is opening its gates for science graduates from the 2026 passing-out batch to apply for exciting career opportunities for freshers.

TCS B.Sc Ignite Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates from the 2026 batch who are pursuing 3-year full-time BCA, B.Sc (IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cybersecurity, Biochemistry), or B.Voc (CS/IT) programs are eligible to apply.

• Applicants must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA in Class 10, Class 12, Diploma (if applicable), and Graduation, considering all subjects across all semesters, including successful completion of the final semester/year.

• Candidates must not have any active backlogs at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process.

• It is mandatory to complete the course within the prescribed duration. Candidates should have no pending backlogs at the time of joining TCS if selected. Extended education beyond the standard course duration will not be considered eligible.

• Candidates are required to declare any educational gaps in the TCS Application Form. The total academic gap throughout the educational journey should not exceed 24 months up to the highest qualification. Supporting documents for such gaps must be provided during the selection process.

• Only full-time courses are considered eligible. Part-time, distance learning, or correspondence courses will not be accepted. However, candidates who completed their Class 10 and/or Class 12 through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are eligible, provided all higher education qualifications were pursued in full-time mode.

• The minimum age to apply is 18 years, while the maximum age allowed is 28 years.

• This opportunity is intended for Entry-Level hiring. Candidates with prior work experience can also apply; however, any previous employment must be mandatorily disclosed in the TCS Application Form. Relevant experience documents will be verified during the TCS selection process

TCS B.Sc Ignite Hiring Test Pattern:

TCS iON is the test provider for the TCS B.Sc Ignite Hiring process. The test is of 120 minutes duration and comprises the below sections –

• Numerical Ability
• Verbal Ability
• Reasoning Ability
• Coding (Optional)

TCS B.Sc Ignite Hiring Application process: 

• Step 1: Access the Portal Go to the TCS NextStep Portal.

• Step 2: Verification Details Verify your details using your Aadhaar Card. Ensure your name and date of birth match your Aadhaar exactly, as errors can lead to immediate disqualification.

• Step 3: Registration Category Selection * If you are a new user: Click on “Register Now” and select the category as “IT” (Information Technology). Proceed to fill in your personal, academic, and experience details to generate your unique Reference ID.

  • If you are already a registered user: Log in with your existing TCS Reference ID (CT/DT number) and update your application form details

• Step 4: Apply for the Drive Once your application form is complete and submitted, click on the “Apply for Drive” option.

• Step 5: Select Test Center Choose your preferred In-Centre test location from the available list and click on “Apply”. (Note: Allotment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the location cannot be changed once selected).

• Step 6: Track Status To confirm your successful registration, go to “Track My Application” on the portal dashboard. Your status must officially display as “Applied for Drive”

Important Note

• You must have all your original academic documents readily available (Marksheets and degree certificates)
• Communication-related to the Test will be shared with you by TCS iON
• Test mode (In-Centre or Remote) once selected at the time of ‘Apply for Drive’ cannot be changed later
• TCS does not send job offers / any hiring-related communication from unofficial email ids like Gmail, Rediff mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail, etc.
• TCS does not ask candidates to deposit any money for job offers
• TCS is not associated with any external agency/company to conduct any interviews or make offers of employment on its behalf
