TCS NQT follows an Integrated Test Pattern for Prime, Digital and Ninja fresher hiring at TCS. Candidates need to appear for a single test and based on the test performance, they will qualify for Prime, Digital or Ninja interviews.
TCS NQT 2026 Exam Date
TCS free NQT 2026 exam for the 2026, 2025 & 2024 batch will be conducted from 10th March, 2026. and Please note that this is an In-Center test, and center allotment would be on first come first serve basis.
TCS NQT Off Campus Eligibility: Who Can Apply?

Step 1. Login to the TCS NextStep Portal
Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive
- Scenario A. If you are a registered user under TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
- Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’
Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on Apply.
Step 4. To confirm your status, check “Track Your Application“. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive”.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You MUST register under the “IT” section on the NextStep portal to be eligible for Ninja, Digital, or Prime roles. Registering under “BPS” will exclude you from these engineering roles.
