Responsibilities of an Apprentice:

  • Gain knowledge of Network Transformation Engineering
  • Improve systems engineering and processes to accelerate execution and redesign network architecture for improved performance
  • Understand network design and manage capacity for infrastructure (Nodes, ILAs, Data Centers)
  • Identify and document critical infrastructure assets and maintain accurate records
  • Manage packet networks, including testing, development, and capacity planning
  • Oversee and manage centralized back-office activities for end-to-end service delivery within Colt.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams and stakeholders to align services with business goals
  • Provide required data analysis to support Network Development and Optimisation objectives for the wider team
  • Identify and fix data inconsistencies in source systems
  • Reporting/Analysis – Develop and publish reporting and analytics because of tested hypotheses and provide user-friendly outputs.
