What a Service Desk at Cognizant actually does:

  • Act as the first point of contact for users reporting IT issues.
  • Log, track, and resolve Service Desk tickets accurately and within defined SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles for faster issue resolution.

Cognizant Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Any 3-year UG degree (BCom, BCA, BSc, BA, BBA, B.Voc, BMS, etc.) are eligible to apply.
  • 2025 & 2026 batch eligible
  • Minimum 50% in X, XII, Diploma, UG (no rounding off)
  • No standing arrears.
  • Students applied for re-evaluation, and waiting for the results would be validated with the initial results score declared.
  • Willing to work in shifts and from office
  • Must be Indian nationals / OCIs residing in India

Who Should NOT Apply?

  • Currently enrolled in full-time postgraduate courses are not eligible.
  • Academic score rounding off 49.9% is not allowed.
  • Are of batch 2024 and below
  • Students with standing arrears are NOT eligible to apply.
