Selection Process of UPSC Recruitment:

The selection process for UPSC Recruitment 2026 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission through one or more of the following stages:

1. Shortlisting of Applications

UPSC will scrutinize all applications and shortlist candidates based on the eligibility conditions, educational qualifications, experience, and other requirements mentioned in the notification.

2. Recruitment Test (If Required)

For posts receiving a large number of applications, UPSC may conduct a Recruitment Test (RT) to shortlist candidates for the interview stage.

3. Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview conducted by UPSC. The interview will assess the candidate’s subject knowledge, professional experience, technical skills, and suitability for the post.

4. Document Verification

Candidates must produce original documents related to educational qualifications, experience, age, category, and other eligibility criteria during the verification process.

5. Final Merit List

The final selection will be based on performance in the Recruitment Test (where applicable), Interview, and verification of eligibility conditions as prescribed by UPSC.
