Responsibilities of an Assistant Analyst:

  • Performing accounting activities related to invoice processing.
  • Indexing invoices and maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Managing invoice exceptions and providing appropriate resolutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Supporting internal controls in accordance with US GAAP and applicable local accounting requirements.
  • Following Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control procedures.
  • Working with stakeholders to achieve team and business objectives.
  • Coordinating with the Team Leader and Deputy Manager to meet operational targets and deadlines.
  • Supporting cross-functional initiatives and process improvements.
  • Collaborating with peers across Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS).
  • Contributing to broader accounting and operational goals    

Eaton Off Campus- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor/Masters degree in accounting,MBA, or Finance
  • 0-3 years of invoice management experience.

Required skills:

  • Financial accounting systems experience in AP and/or GL within the SAP and/or Oracle platforms
  • Accounting and financial knowledge; basic understanding of the Procure-to-Pay process
  • ERP and system skill set – Oracle R12/SAP/MFGPRO, MS Office utilities.
  • Influencing skills with relationship building with the customers and stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
