Job Description:
Amazon is hiring for the post of IT Support Associate.
Job Responsibilities:
- The team provides IT support through an omni-channel contact center, helping Amazon’s worldwide Operations (Ops) associates with their technical issues. It also provides internal and external technical support for Amazon Locker services.
- The Service Desk (SD) team plays an important role in keeping Amazon’s sites and operations running smoothly across the world. By resolving IT issues quickly and efficiently, the team helps ensure that Amazon’s operations continue without unnecessary disruptions and that customers receive their orders on time.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1+ year of Service Desk or technical support work experience.
Preferred skill:
- Effective Communication Skills
- Interaction with Amazon Internal customers it includes APAC/EMEA/AMER Operation /IT team/Customer Support.
- Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) is fundamental to maintaining consistency and efficiency in daily operations.
- Basic knowledge of IT troubleshooting on end-user devices
- Competence in resolving issues on various client devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Basic Understanding and troubleshooting skills on various operating systems, specifically Windows and Linux
- We have a 5-day work week, but given the 7-day-a-week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.
- Adherence to OTS Service Desk Goals
- Meeting targets for Response and Resolution SLA, CSAT, and effectively managing incidents.
